Volunteer Engagement & Recruitment Officer (Volunteer Role)

Diaspora Together Trust and Support Association (DTTASA) is seeking a dedicated Volunteer Engagement & Recruitment Officer to support our global volunteer network and ensure smooth coordination across programs.

Overview

In this role, you will coordinate volunteer schedules, onboard new volunteers, and maintain smooth communication across DTTASA’s programs in education, healthcare, clean water, and community development. You will also assist in recruiting new volunteers and conducting interviews for prospective applicants.

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate volunteer activities and engagement across DTTASA programs.
• Assist in onboarding new volunteers, sharing role descriptions, guidelines, and orientation materials.
• Maintain accurate volunteer records and contact information.
• Facilitate communication between volunteers and program teams using digital platforms.
• Support volunteer recognition and motivation initiatives.
• Track volunteer participation and provide periodic engagement reports.
• Recruit new volunteers and assist in conducting interviews for prospective applicants.
• Assist in resolving volunteer queries or concerns professionally.

Requirements & Qualifications

• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Experience in volunteer coordination, recruitment, program management, or community engagement is an advantage.
• Comfortable using digital tools (email, WhatsApp, Google Workspace, Trello, etc.).
• Ability to work independently, meet deadlines, and collaborate with a global team.
• Passion for social impact, education, healthcare, and community development.

Time Commitment & Location

Time Commitment: Approximately 3–5 hours per week (flexible schedule)
Location: Remote, volunteer can be anywhere in the world
